What is it & How Does It Work?

What is Electrostatic Disinfection?

There are many different standard cleaning methods to clean & disinfect an area.  There are dry, wet cleaning with chemicals, and then electrostatic disinfection.   The first two cleaning methods have their drawbacks.  Wet cleaning methods use harsh chemicals that can eat away the surface material and some chemicals have toxic fumes that are  harmful to the cleaners health over a length of time.  Its also hard to get all the spots.  With dry cleaning methods, dust, particles, and other substances can get air born spreading the dirt, grime, and biomass around.

Electrostatic disinfection cleans at a very microscopic level with positive charged particles that are atomized. This method uses  a sanitizing agent and is sprayed into a mist of positive charged particles all over a surface area.  Since the spray is atomized, it reaches every square inch of a surface effectively.   The mist is very fine and is not wasteful at all.

It reaches larger surface area than other  cleaning methods.  The machine we use, uses a electrode to charge the cleaning agents particles and then is sprayed into a super fine mist.  Since the mist is positively charged, they stick to everything and are very effective at disinfecting viruses, bacteria, mold, and other bio-contaminants in the area.   This method of cleaning is great for sanitizing contaminated areas and bio-hazard zones.

Since all bad bacteria, viruses, and mold are negatively charged, the positive charged spray gets attracted and very effectively disinfects the contaminated area.  The positive charged spray zapps the microscopic life cell wall and burst it open killing the contaminants.   The surfaces that have already been sprayed and have already been coated will repel the positive charged spray so it gets used on all areas and there is very little waste.  Effective and super efficient.
